The UNIMAC 1800W Auch Series Long Reach 2 in 1 Drywall Sander/Vacuum is designed for sanding those hard to reach ceilings and walls. with it’s innovative and lightweight design you’ll put the finishing touches on construction and drywall renovation work faster than conventional drywall sanding. The unique design with automatic vacuum functionality feeding a 20 litre dust bag means clean-up time is minimal. 

The UNIMAC Drywall Sander is ideal for both weekend DIY weekend warriors or seasoned pros. The powerful 1800W watt dust-sealed motor has an easy-access 6-Speed System that controls the revolutions per minute (RPM) from 1,000 to 1800 per minute. Speeds 1-3 are ideal for soft wall and fine sanding; 3-6 are ideal for hard walls. 

The telescopic design allows you to extend it up to 180cm which when held gives approximately 3m in reach which enables you to reach typical ceilings. And thanks to the clever 4-way pivot head you’ll work the awkward bends and angles without unnecessary stress or strain on your body. 

Twelve BONUS 225mm sanding discs in varying grits are included, and attach easily via the strong hook and loop fasteners to the sander head. This extra-large surface area allows you to get the job done with maximum efficiency!

This product is a good design a little bit heavy after doing ceilings for a while . It is in not way dust free it catchs 75% of the dust but a good alternative to buying a festool which is $2500+. Id recommend to a diy or tradie doing small to medium jobs . Hope this helps .. View Less

View MoreWhat ever you do dont loose the screw that holds the velcro pad on.: The solid skirt on the machine limits the sanding head to any pressure on ceilings,when pressed the head simply retracts under the solid skirt reducing the sanding pressure to virtually nothing.A rubber washer placed under the head of the velcro pad does the trick however you have to remove the velcro head to do this.This was where I lost the left hand thread screw and had great difficulty in obtaining a new one.The machine is rendered un usable without it as it winds the head of the machine without the screw.Left hand thread screws for this machine a extremely hard to obtain so be careful, I had to take mine to an engineering workshop to fix it to be able to use it.Once the washer is placed under the head the machine works as it should and does a good job...
